On 15/7, many foreign currency shops on Ha Trung street (Hoang Kiem district, Hanoi) posted the USD selling price above 23,300 VND / USD, the highest level in many recent years of this foreign currency.

Accordingly, the purchase price of USD here mainly around 23,230-23,260 / USD, while the price was pushed above 23,300. This price has increased to more than 100 per dollar compared to the beginning of the week. The difference of trading is 40-60 dong / USD from 30 dong / USD.

At the shop M.H, this clue said that the price of USD has increased continuously from the last two weeks but increased the strongest in recent days.

"USD in the world is rising very fast so the free dollar also increases. Prices in banks tend to rise more slowly than the world. In a few days, the dollar price in the bank will increase as well, "the agent said.

The dollar price in the free market has increased by nearly 300 dong per dollar in the past month.

 

Accordingly, this agent listed USD price at 23,260 - 23,310 VND / USD (buy - sell) with small transactions, odd. With the transaction value of over $ 1,000, the selling price will be reduced but not less than 22,290 VND / USD.

Meanwhile, T.H also on this line even raised prices higher than 20 per dollar in both directions buy and sell, pushing prices to 23,280 - 23,330 per dollar. This agent also confirmed that the increase in USD price is due to the demand and supply of the market together with the rise of USD world.

In the banking market, the exchange rate also increased compared to the early week but only slightly increased from 5-20 / USD. At Vietcombank and BIDV, these two banks still list USD exchange rates around the threshold of 23,010 - 23,080 VND / USD (buy - sell), up 5 VND in both directions compared with the beginning of the week. Vietinbank has also increased 9 dong / USD in both buying and selling, and is currently listed at 23,019 - 23,089 dong / USD.
